Julep Nail Polish: To Try or Not to Try?

There are a ton of bloggers out there who love their Julep nail polish, and I simply want to know why. I've always been curious about the brand and for the majority, bloggers seem to love it, which the reviewers on MakeupAlley really ripped it apart. The average rating is a 2.4, and only 16% would buy it again. That being said, I still really am interested in the brand, and I want to be proved wrong by the reviewers online.

I simply love the colors of the polishes, especially the crèmes, and on their website, there seems to be no reason not to love the company. Though their spiel is a little too "girl power" for me, they support charity. The polishes are 4-free and I just know the colors in the Fall 2012 shades would go great with my closet. I'm just concerned that I won't be happy with the polish after spending so much on it. They're easily twice as expensive as OPI, and you get about half in the bottle.

That all being said, if I do go through with getting one or some of the polishes this fall, here's what I would pick up. And, for the record, I was deemed a "Boho Glam" girl, and I could really be the farthest thing from it.
