True Prep by Lisa Birnbach with Chip Kidd
In many ways True Prep was a manual on how to embody the prep culture and lifestyle. It was full of humor and easy to read. I thought the book had so great resources for every stage of prep, and I would definitely read Birnbach's other books. I'd recommend this for anyone who can relate to the prep lifestyle, and laugh at themselves.

The Magicians by Lev Grossman
I really had trouble with this book. It was difficult to get into, and unlike Harry Potter, not believable. It's almost like Grossman didn't try, and was bitter about the success of HP. The book centered on a school of magic, a college, and kept poking fun at HP and Narnia. It was really frustrating to get through, and not enjoyable. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. There were just so many things wrong with this book.

What have you been reading lately? Any suggestions?
