Earlier this month, my neighborhood hosted an annual street-chalking festival. It was the tenth annual event, and the works presented on the street were incredible. I'm convinced that there was some kind of oil in the chalk, because it's still on the street! The majority of the art was based on famous paintings, but some in front of stores were the logos or tributes to the store. I loved the variety of art on the street and a ton of people attended.

The event did make for difficulty getting around my neighborhood - the streets, including mine, were closed. But it was all worth it because I'm still enjoying the colorful streets.
