I shared my living room with you all earlier last year, and not much has changed, but I really wanted to wait to share my bed and bathroom (bathroom mostly) with you because I completely changed the décor. My bedroom just needed a few extra touches and the bathroom needed a new color scheme, not that I don't love green.
I always keep body lotion handy (pun...) and I found the anchor towel at Target. It fits the navy color scheme perfectly.
I keep both liquid soap (for Boyfriend) and bar soap (for me). Who knew people could be picky about that? I also keep Sigma Alpha Iota daily affirmations next to my sink so I can read them when I get ready every morning. I received them when I was initiated back in 2010 and all the active sisters wrote well wishes to me. It's a wonderful daily reminder of sister love.
Here's a better view of the Kate Spade Candy Shop bath set that Boyfriend got me. I love the colors, and my towels already matched it! It's so wonderful to wake up every morning to pink and navy to say the least.
My bedroom is a square with closets all along one wall. I keep my casual tops, delicates, socks, and jeans in the drawers and on an extra chair I keep a basket with my hair styling tools. I use a vase to organize my headbands, and a bumblebee ceramic for my bracelets. My jewelry box houses pretty much everything else. At the end of each day, I put my ring and watch, and any other things I wore in a ceramic egg crate (similar).
My bedding is pretty simple, and I don't necessarily make my bed everyday. I think the heart banner fits pretty well in the aesthetic of my apartment as a whole.
Also, if you haven't already picked up a calendar for the year, have no fear! Toffee magazine has adorable desktop calendars.
And as it's Valentine's Day, here's a sweet sugar cookie recipe that I made tonight. Delicious.
What's your apartment like? How did you celebrate Valentine's Day?
